What is included with the repair?

With every repair we will: dust out the console, replace the current thermal
paste with new thermal paste, test the game drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, and controller
USB ports to ensure that your console is fully functional.
Note: All PlayStation 5 consoles will have the liquid metal inspected and reflowed, as it does not utilize thermal paste.

Should my PlayStation 5 be placed standing/vertically or flat/horizontally?

While it is most often pictured standing vertically, due to the use of liquid metal as a
heat transfer agent, it is of the opinion of Big Paw Tech Repair that the console benefits most from being stored horizontally with proper mount support. Big Paw Tech Repair is of the opinion that storing the console horizontally reduces the risk of the liquid metal from pooling over time, helps keep the liquid metal spread evenly on the APU, and assists with more efficient cooling and performance of the system.
